These terms apply to the PEV Ride Computer Android app and its public product website, provided by Neuralis, LLC. By using them, you agree to these terms. Contact support@neuralisai.com with questions.
Availability and use
The app is currently being tested for Android and is coming to Google Play. Website publication does not mean the app is publicly released. Testing access, where provided, does not promise a release date or that every feature will appear unchanged in the commercial version.
The planned commercial app uses a one-time purchase rather than an app subscription. At release, Google Play will show the price, taxes, availability and purchase terms for your region. A store purchase provides a personal, non-exclusive right to use the app under Google Play's rules. Refunds and mandatory consumer rights remain subject to Google Play's policies and applicable law. External services can have their own account requirements or charges.
Use the app lawfully with a compatible device. Follow local riding rules and your vehicle manufacturer's instructions. Stop somewhere safe before interacting with the screen. Phone hardware, permissions, battery management, storage, location reception and mobile service affect performance.
Ride information and vehicle configurations
Statistics, elevation, detected highlights, energy and range figures may contain errors or gaps. They are not certified measurements. Your vehicle specifications and battery entries affect estimates. The app does not provide live controller telemetry, control the vehicle or establish that a vehicle, speed or route is safe.
Elevation checks use the available measurements and cannot distinguish every sensor error from terrain. Reanalysis may change displayed highlights or totals; it does not update previously exported files.
Downloadable vehicle configurations are reference records. Check the exact model, revision, units and each value against your own equipment. A setup file is not firmware, a controller programming instruction, a warranty or a manufacturer's approval. Do not change physical equipment or controller limits because an imported file contains a value.
Leave practical battery and distance margins. Use your vehicle's instruments and your own judgment. The app does not replace equipment inspection, route planning or professional advice.
Group rides and external accounts
Group participation is optional and uses your own Tailscale account. You are responsible for your account, invitations and access choices. Only share an invitation with the intended people. Review the group's members before sharing a route or sensitive information.
Current group positions can be delayed or unavailable. A marker is not proof a person is safe, still at that position or coming to help. Rally attendance combines estimates from shared positions and riders' manual confirmations; it is not proof of exact venue attendance or safety. Check freshness and use direct communication when needed. Planned routes and rally points do not provide turn-by-turn navigation or guarantee access or route safety.
Group membership and personal recording are independent activities. The finish sheet lets you choose saving your recording, leaving or ending the group, or both. Hosts must explicitly choose to end the group for everyone. An activity you do not choose to finish continues, and pausing a recording does not stop group sharing. Review the completion result because one chosen action can succeed while another needs attention. Leaving or ending a group does not automatically resolve an SOS.
Tailscale and Spotify operate under their own terms. A Spotify Jam link opens Spotify; PEV Ride Computer does not guarantee synchronized playback, manage the Spotify session or provide Spotify audio in replay exports.
Optional Ride safety
Ride safety and possible-incident detection are experimental. They can miss incidents and produce false alarms. Alarms, location, transmission, receipt and a person's response are not guaranteed. A queued, sent or delivered status does not prove a person has read an alert or that help is coming.
Only add SMS contacts who have agreed to receive messages, use correct numbers and remove them if they withdraw agreement. Adding a contact sends an introduction. You are responsible for carrier charges. The app does not read replies or automatically process a request to stop texts.
Manual Group SOS, manual emergency-contact SMS and automatic possible-incident alerts have different audiences. Review the action and recipients. An all-clear must be sent deliberately; dismissing a result or leaving a group does not send one.
Manual Group SOS requires three taps followed by confirmation; an optional message is shared with the group. Sending or editing that group message does not send emergency-contact SMS or place an emergency call. Repeating sounds remain subject to device settings and interruptions. Silencing or dismissing an incoming alert is local acknowledgement, not a shared response or evidence that help is coming. Diagnostic checks and changes to detection sensitivity do not establish that a crash or recovery will be recognized reliably.
The app does not call emergency services, monitor your ride remotely or arrange rescue. Keep another way to obtain help available. Contact local emergency services directly when possible. Do not rely on the app as your only safety measure.
Your files and content
You retain your rights in notes, configurations and other content you create. You control whether to export or share it. Review routes, endpoints, names, notes, photos and captions before sharing. Published group routes and external copies cannot be recalled merely by deleting the source on your phone.
Only use music, images and other material you have the right to use and share. Selecting a file does not grant a publication license. You are responsible for the permissions required by your intended use and the receiving platform.
Replay stops, nearby place names and photo-time placement are suggestions for your review, not verified evidence of a visit or event. Correct or exclude them when needed. The app retains optimized private copies of selected photos without changing the originals. Excluding a photo keeps its app copy; removing it deletes that copy. Create a new export after editing a replay; existing exported files do not change.
Replay trimming and Smooth Stops change the video presentation, not the original recording. Original ride data, attached photos and event choices outside the selected range remain stored and may be included in backups. Review each exported file for locations and personal details before sharing; a selected replay range is not automatic removal of private information from your app library or other exports.
Keep backups you trust. Full backups can include private replay photos, captions and edits as well as rides, settings and safety information; the app does not password protect them. Restoring replaces the current personal app library after confirmation. Keep original photos, music and exported videos separately, and use an app version that supports the backup format. Clearing storage or uninstalling removes local records. Neuralis has no cloud copy of your rides and cannot recover information that exists only on your phone. Backups do not transfer group account access.
Community uploads and contributor accounts are not open. The Community contribution guidelines describe the standards for future contributions; any submission service will present its applicable sharing terms before upload.
Maps and third-party services
Map downloads depend on Geofabrik and the regions offered. OpenStreetMap data has attribution and licensing requirements; retain the attribution included in exported maps and videos. Maps can be incomplete or out of date.
Google Play, Tailscale, Spotify, mobile carriers, Google Maps, Google Earth, file providers and services you select operate under their own terms and may change or become unavailable. A one-time app purchase does not purchase rights to those services or guarantee their continued availability.
Privacy and support

Email support is for product assistance and is not an emergency response channel.
Updates and responsibility
We may fix or change the app and website as devices, Android and external services change. A purchase does not promise compatibility with every future device, every Android version or a specific schedule of new features.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app and website are provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, error-free information or successful emergency communication. Nothing here excludes or limits a right, remedy or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer protections.
We may update these terms. The date above identifies this version. Material changes will be explained in the relevant product when appropriate.
