Written steps cover the current 0.16 Android beta, including replay trimming, Smooth Stops and revised group controls. Each clip identifies its build and source; earlier footage remains useful for the core workflow, though labels and layout may differ. Illustrated sequences use actual app screenshots with synthetic data, not continuous interaction recordings or proof of outdoor performance. iOS is planned after the Android commercial launch.

Choose your replay range

  1. Open a saved ride’s replay editor. In Replay range, choose Trim ride, or Adjust if a range is already selected.
  2. Drag the start and finish handles and review the route preview. Times refer to the original ride. Choose Apply range; the video’s route and statistics will describe that section.
  3. Review Smooth Stops to shorten incidental waiting while keeping included stops and photos. It starts on for new replay edits; existing saved edits keep their earlier pacing. This clip shows the controls, not a before-and-after pacing comparison.
  4. Photos and included moments outside the range are kept. Choose Reset to full ride, then Apply range to bring the whole route back. Your original recording is unchanged.
  5. Preview and export a fresh video. Review its endpoints and personal details before sharing; trimming a replay does not remove locations from other exports or backups.

  1. Expand the live map while keeping speed, distance and time in view. In the current beta, Full map is also available in the group toolbar. Browse the map, then resume Follow when you want to track your position.
  2. In a group, open Rally to see the arrival roster. Recent, accurate slow positions can mark arrival; use I’m here or Undo my arrival when needed.
  3. Open Ride for recording controls. In Finish, choose whether to save the recording and leave or end the group. Hosts must explicitly choose to end the group for everyone.
  4. Review the completion result. Saving alone keeps group sharing active; if either action needs attention, follow the result message. This guide illustrates controls, not an outdoor tracking test.

Tell the ride’s story

  1. Open a saved ride’s replay editor and give the video its own title.
  2. Review suggested stops, edit their names or add a stop manually. Suggestions need your judgment; a GPS gap is not treated as a visit.
  3. Choose up to 12 photos, add captions and place them along the route or at a stop. Review any suggested placement; the guide uses a placeholder sample photo.
  4. In the current beta, choose the replay’s start and finish and review Smooth Stops to shorten incidental waits. Included stops and photos keep their presentation; the original recording is unchanged.
  5. Preview the story and create a fresh video to apply edits. Check locations, names and photos before sharing. Trimming a video does not remove locations from the saved ride or its backups.

  3. Review optional battery information and the live dashboard.

Build your Garage

  1. Find the exact model and variant in the vehicle library.
  2. Open Garage and choose Import vehicle from JSON.
  3. Review the preview and specifications before adding a vehicle.
  4. Leave unknown values blank and confirm your own setup. The Garage import workflow is unchanged in the current beta.

Render a personal replay

  1. Open a saved ride and its replay tools. The current editor adds titles, stops, photos, trimming and Smooth Stops; see the guides above.
  2. Preview the selected route and presentation, then choose the video’s length.
  3. Create the video and wait for rendering to finish.
  4. Review location details before saving or sharing. Changes to story edits, the selected range or pacing require a new export. Reopen an older ride to apply updated elevation analysis, then regenerate its video.

Get oriented in a group ride

  1. Group rides use a separate Tailscale sign-in and network connection.
  2. Host or request to join; locations are shared after host admission.
  3. Review the group route, rider freshness and rally information. The rally roster and arrival controls are shown in the map guide above.
  4. Recording and group participation remain independent. The current Finish screen can save the recording and leave or end the group together when you select both actions.
  5. The current Group SOS control requires three taps, then confirmation. Use the current FAQ for messages and repeating-alert responses; this older clip does not show the updated SOS workflow.
